Hello. My name is Arty.

 I am a snail. I live with Herbert, Zippy, Sneat, and Snooble.

They are also snails. Together we have pets. Our pets are our fish.

We live in Wisconsin, but do not eat cheese. However, we do eat lettuce, carrots, algae, and on special occasions, a bit of broccoli or cucumber. Sometimes the fish let have us some of their fish food.

We usually eat our meals together, but sometimes I will have a snack of lettuce by myself. I am the largest snail and need more food than my friends.

We move slowly but efficiently. Each of us has one large foot, and we like to crawl around on the walls of our glass house. We never throw the small stones.

We each have a shell that we carry around. As we grow, our shells grow.  Look at the center of my shell to see what I looked like when I was a baby snail.

We have owners who are very good to us.  They keep us clean and feed us. Their names are Michelle and Mike.
